CSR goals

2022

1. Ensure that the number of suppliers with a completed social audit must be min. 90% of buying volume equal to BV. Of these, min. 85% must have achieved the result "A" or "B" or "C" according to the Amfori - BSCI 2.0 system one or equivalent. The remaining 10% must be involved in the audit process by at least having signed the Code of Conduct and filling out a Self-Assessment Tool. We will strive to document the factories' status with visual material.


2. Ensure that 95% of Claire's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire's chemical programme and that at least 15 chemical tests are carried out annually on grades from main suppliers in accordance with our test plan, which is based on a risk assessment.


3. Offer relevant further education to all in-house professionals with the overall goal of supporting the company's development, including ensuring that we meet our targets. Our aims:

a. 85% of all employees to receive SA 8000 training and have a refresher in SA 8000, working environment and external environmental conditions every 2 years.
b. A min. of 15% of all employees to receive first aid training using a defibrillator.
c. A min. of 15% to be trained in basic firefighting.
d. An equal proportion of men and women in managerial positions or engaged in confidential work.


4. Donate a total of DKK 200,000 to sponsorships, charities and cultural and/or sporting events.


5. Increase the proportion of goods with certifications to 55% of the total BV.


6. Send a video or other communication to selected stakeholders about the company's status at least twice a year, with a view to continuing the good relationships established during the COVID-19 pandemic.


7. Donate samples and seconds to charities at least twice a year.


2021

1. Ensure a min. of 88% of suppliers (BV) have a completed social audit. Of these, min. 85% must have achieved the result "A" or "B" or "C" according to the Amfori - BSCI 2.0 system or equivalent. The remaining 15% must be involved in the audit process by at least having signed the Code of Conduct and filling out a Self-Assessment Tool. We will strive to document the factories' status with visual material.


2. Ensure that 95% of Claire's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire's chemical programme and that at least 15 chemical tests are carried out annually on grades from main suppliers in accordance with our test plan, which is based on a risk assessment.

7. Donate product samples and seconds to charities at least twice a year.


8. Collaborate on a feasibility study concerning the future development of a green business plan.


2020

Ensure that the number of suppliers (BV) who have undergone complete social audits is at a minimum of 88% of BV. Of these, at least 85 % must have been assessed at 'A', 'B' or 'C' inthe Amfori – 2.0 BSCI system or equivalent. The remaining 15 % must be involved inthe audit process by at least having signed the Code of Conduct and completed aself-assessment tool, and we will strive to document the status of the factoriesusing photographs.

Ensure that 95 % of Claire's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire'schemical programme and that at least 15 chemical tests of qualities from main suppliersare conducted annually according to our test plan, which is based on risk assessment.

Help create an inclusive labour market by including employees whohave lost their footing or who are finding it difficult to enter the labour market to an extentequivalent to half a year's work.

Provide relevant training to all our professional groups in order to upgrade them, and withthe overall objective of strengthening the company's development, including ensuring that ourtarget points are maintained. We aim for:

a. 85 % of all employees to have received SA 8000 training and to receive updates on SA 8000, work environment and external environmental conditions every two years.
b. At least 15 % of all employees to receive first aid training using a defibrillator.
c. At least 15 % to be trained in basic fire fighting.
d. An equal distribution of men and women in managerial positions or working with confidential work.


Donate a total of DKK 175,000 to sponsorships, charitable, cultural and/orsporting events.

Achieve a 10 % increase in the number of styles with GOTS.


2019

Ensure that the number of suppliers (BV) with completed social audit is at least 85% of BV. Of these, a minimum of 80% must have achieved grade; "A", "B" or "C" according to the Amfori ? BSCI 2.0 or an equivalent. The remaining 20% must be involved in the audit process and, as a minimum, have signed Code of Conduct and completed a Self-assessment Tool and we will endeavour to document the status of the factory with photo documentation.


Ensure that 90% of Claire's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire's restricted chemical programme and that at least ten chemical tests of garments from your main suppliers are carried out annually in accordance with our test plan which is based on a risk assessment.


Endeavour to become GOTS-certified during the first six months.


Contribute to creating an inclusive labour market by easing in staff who have lost their footing or find entering the labour market difficult to an extent equivalent to half a full-time position.


Provide relevant and skill-enhancing ongoing training of all employees of the company with the general objective of strengthening the company's development and maintaining our targets. We endeavour to ensure:- that 95% of all staff have received SA 8000-training and will received an update on SA 8000, occupational health and safety and external environment.

- That a minimum of 10% of all staff must be trained in first aid with defibrillator.
- That a minimum of 10% must be trained in basic firefighting.
- That there is an equal distribution of men and women in managerial positions or carrying out work of a confidential nature.


2018

To prioritise relevant and skill-enhancing ongoing training of all employees with the general objective of strengthening the company's development and maintaining our targets:

- That 95% of all staff will have received SA 8000-training and will receive an update on SA 8000 and occupational health and safety every other year.
- That a minimum of 10% of all staff must be trained in first aid with defibrillator.
- That a minimum of 10% must be trained in basic firefighting.
- That there is an equal distribution of men and women in managerial positions or carrying out work of a confidential nature.


Contribute to creating an inclusive labour market where we will contribute to ease in staff who have lost their footing or find entering the labour market difficult to the extent possible bearing in mind the circumstances of the company.


Ensure that the number of suppliers (BV) with completed social audit is at least 80 % of BV. Of these, a minimum of 75% must have achieved grade; "A", "B" or "C" according to the BSCI 2.0 system or an equivalent. The remaining 25% of suppliers (>1%) must be involved in the audit process by, as a minimum, have signed Code of Conduct and completed a Self-assessment Tool and we will endeavour to document the status of the factory with photo documentation.


Ensure that 85% of Claire's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire's Restricted Chemicals Programme and that at least ten chemical tests of garment from our main suppliers are carried out annually in accordance with our test plan.


2017

To prioritize relevant and upgrading training of all professional groups in the house with the main objective to strengthen the company's development, including the provision of maintaining our target points:

- That 95% of all employees have received training in SA 8000, and that they, every two years, are brought up to date on SA 8000 and working environment issues.
- That, at least, 10% of all employees are to be trained in first aid using a defibrillator.
- That, at least, 10% are to be trained in basic firefighting measures.
- To have a balanced representation of men and women in leadership or trusted positions.


To work on a dialogue-based manner with interested parties, suppliers and subcontractors to establish, maintain and continuously enhance the company's social performance.

To contribute to the creation of a tolerant labour market allowing us to ease in employees who have lost their footing or are experiencing difficulties as to re-enter the labour market.

To maintain the number of suppliers (BV) with conducted a social audit of min. 75% of BV (2015 was 83% after BSCI 1.0 rating system). Of this, minimum 66% must have obtained the result "A" or "B" by BSCI 2.0 system or equivalent. It is a goal that the remaining suppliers (> 1%) must be involved in the audit process at least to have signed the Code of Conduct and complete a Self Assessment Tool.

That 90% of Claire Group's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire Groups's chemical programme and that the effort to test random samples of end products from main suppliers is intensified during in 2017 according to our test plan.

To strive for an ever larger share of Claire Group's production (BV) must be marked with Oeko-Tex 100.


2016

To prioritise applicable and qualification enhancing further training for all professions in house with the overall purpose of strengthening the growth of the company.

That 95% of all employees have received training in SA 8000, and that they, every two years, are brought up to date on SA 8000 and working environment issues.

That, at least, 10% of all employees are to be trained in first aid using a defibrillator.

That, at least, 10% are to be trained in basic firefighting measures.

To achieve an equal distribution of men and women in leadership or trusted positions, and that 80% of all employees work according to a collective agreement.

To work on a dialogue-based manner with interested parties, suppliers and subcontractors to establish, maintain and continuously enhance the company's social performance.

To contribute to the creation of a tolerant labour market allowing us to ease in employees who have lost their footing or are experiencing difficulties as to re-enter the labour market.

To maintain the number of suppliers (BV) having completed a social audit at, at least, 70%, of which 66% must have achieved the result A or B according to the BSCI 2.0 system or equivalent.

That the remaining 30% of the suppliers (>1%) are involved in the audit process by means of having signed, as a minimum, the Code of Conduct and completed a Self-Assessment Tool.

That 75% of Claire Group's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire Groups chemical programme, and that the effort to test random samples of end products from main suppliers is intensified during the second half of 2016.


2015

Renewal of the company's SA 8000 certification for 2015-2018.

To achieve a balanced representation of men and women in management positions or who are in a position of trust and that 80% of all employees follow a collective agreement.

To work based on dialogue with stakeholders to improve the company SA 8000 results.

Having employees on special terms to the extent that the company's situation allows.

To increase the focus on relevant and upgrading training for all professional groups and ensure that at least 95% of all employees have received training in occupational health and SA 8000, and that 10% are trained in first aid with AED and min. 10% have fire-fighting training.

That chemical test clothes from the main suppliers in a three-year rotation.

To min. 66% of all suppliers (Buying Volume) must be involved in the audit process and to my. 66% of all providers must have achieved results Good or Improvement Needed for BSCI measuring scale.


2013-2014

Maintaining the company's SA 8000 certification.

The fact that 50% of all employees at managerial women.

To work in dialogue with stakeholders to improve the companys SA 8000 results.

The fact that 80% of all employees covered by a collective agreement.

Having employees on special terms equivalent to 1/2 FTE.

To increase the focus on internal training in general and ensure that 98% of all employees have had SA 8000 training and that 10% have had first aid training.

To reduce the consumption of electricity, heating, garbage, etc. with 5%.

Chemical test of clothes from main suppliers in a three year rotation.

That 66% of all suppliers (Buying Volume) must be involved in the audit process.

That 55% of all suppliers (Buying Volume) must have had 1 audit, where 48% of these must be audited with the result Good or Improvement needed (minor defects).


2012

Establish and work trough procedures in preparation for SA8000 certification.

43% of all employees at management level must be women.

80% of all employees must be covered by a common agreement.

Having employees on special terms equivalent to a half years work.

Reducing the consumption of electricity, heating, waste etc. with 10%.

Take clothing samples from our main suppliers in a three-year rotation and take chemical tests.

That 66% of all suppliers (Buying Volume) is engaged in BSCI audit process.

35% of all suppliers (Buying Volume) must be audited with the result.

2011

Determine the final demands for the categorization of A, B and C suppliers. Increase our CSR demands to new suppliers.

All suppliers in category A and B must have had social audits without major concerns.
